Hyukoh’s band leader, Oh Hyuk, has tied the knot in a heartfelt and intimate ceremony.
According to Star News, Oh Hyuk exchanged vows with model Hwang Ji Min at a church in Seoul earlier in the afternoon. The private wedding was attended by family, close friends, and a few celebrity guests, including singer Jang Ki Ha and producer Code Kunst, both of whom share a close bond with Oh Hyuk. Together, they gathered to celebrate and wish the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness.
The ceremony reflected Oh Hyuk’s devout Protestant faith, taking place in a serene and respectful atmosphere that aligned with his personal values.
News of the wedding first broke in November when Oh Hyuk’s agency, DooRooDooRoo Artist Company, confirmed the plans. A spokesperson for the agency shared, “Oh Hyuk has decided to hold his wedding in a private venue in Seoul next month. Only family and close friends will attend the ceremony, which will be a quiet, intimate affair.”
Known for his private nature, Oh Hyuk surprised even his inner circle by keeping the wedding plans a secret until the last moment.
According to OSEN, Oh Hyuk and Hwang Ji Min had been in a committed relationship for over four years before deciding to marry.
Oh Hyuk rose to fame in 2014 with the release of Hyukoh’s mini-album 20. However, it was his appearance at the Infinite Challenge music festival in 2015, where he collaborated with comedian Jung Hyung Don, that catapulted him into the spotlight. Most recently, in May, Oh Hyuk demonstrated his versatility as an artist by collaborating with BTS’s RM on the track “Come Back to Me,” showcasing his talent as both a musician and producer.
