Jennie brought star power, surprises and plenty of energy to Governors Ball 2026.

On Sunday night (June 7th), the BLACKPINK member made history as the first K-pop soloist to perform in a headline-level slot at the New York festival. Taking over the Snapchat Stage at Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Jennie delivered an hour-long set filled with songs from Ruby, solo favorites and several unreleased tracks that had fans buzzing.

Her Governors Ball appearance came during a major year for the singer, following the success of Ruby, a widely talked-about Met Gala appearance and a run of high-profile festival stages. She also became only the second K-pop act overall to headline at Governors Ball, following Stray Kids’ top-billed performance the day before.

Backed by a live band, towering LED screens, dramatic staircases and cinematic visuals, Jennie kept the crowd locked in from start to finish.

The set included solo hits such as “Mantra,” “Love Hangover,” “Seoul City” and “like Jennie,” along with unreleased songs believed to be titled “One Night / Lock It Down,” “Little Less” and another untitled track. The surprise additions quickly sparked excitement that more new music could be on the way.

The performance added to an already milestone-filled year for Jennie. After releasing Ruby, she became the first female K-pop soloist to chart three songs on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time. Her remix of Tame Impala’s “Dracula” later gave her a first top-10 hit on the chart.
