Lee Yi Kyung is set to attend an event for the reality dating show I’m SOLO, which is currently his only variety program.
The event, called 2026 I’m SOLO Run, will take place in Yeouido, Seoul, on May 9th. It’s a special running event inspired by the show, combining a 10km race with entertainment activities.
MC Song Hae Na and Lee Yi Kyung will run alongside participants and later host the event, chatting with cast members and guests on stage. Some former cast members of I’m SOLO are also expected to join.
Lee Yi Kyung previously caused controversy in October last year when text messages with offensive language allegedly exchanged with a German individual were revealed. Although the messages’ authenticity is unclear, his image was affected and he stepped down from most variety shows. Currently, he only appears on I’m SOLO.
