Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young’s son is drawing attention online.
Rook Hee, the couple’s teenage son, recently opened a personal Instagram account and shared photos of himself with his father, Kwon Sang Woo. The images quickly caught fans’ attention, with many pointing out his striking, idol-like visuals.
In the photos, Rook Hee shows off his tall frame and handsome features—something his parents have long proudly mentioned.
Son Tae Young previously shared updates about her son during a visit to Seoul in a video on her personal YouTube channel. “Even when we come to Seoul, I like staying at home and going around with my husband,” she said. “Rook Hee, though, is always out meeting friends.”
She added, “When I wake up in the morning, he’s already gone. He goes out early and comes back late at night. He’s really enjoying himself right now. Yesterday he said he walked about 50 minutes from Gangnam Station to home with his friends.”
Son Tae Young also revealed a moment that surprised her. “According to a source, someone asked for Rok Hee’s number yesterday on the streets. They even asked how old he was,” she said with a laugh.
A friend appearing in the video added, “I bet he’s really popular. He definitely stands out.”
Son Tae Young shared that her son is preparing for college and hopes to attend New York University. “Of course he wants to get into a good school, but he’s using NYU as his benchmark,” she said. “If he goes there, I think the way he sees the world will change. He’ll become more competitive and more refined.”
Rook Hee is currently studying in the United States and is also known to play on his school’s soccer team. According to Son Tae Young, he now stands over 180 centimeters tall, adding to the buzz surrounding the star couple’s son.
