Song Ji Hyo recently had her first full health check-up, which revealed unexpected results and led to the removal of a potential cancer-causing polyp.
She shared a video on her YouTube channel titled “Shocking Results of Song Ji Hyo’s First Health Check-Up” on February 26th.
In the video, Song Ji Hyo humorously shared her nervousness. “This is my first health check-up ever. I couldn’t sleep last night. I’m so tired and have no energy. It was almost a hellish experience. Taking the medicine was tough. I didn’t know the tricks, so I dieted for a week beforehand. Is a health check-up always this difficult? I respect people who do this regularly. I don’t think I can do it twice,” she said jokingly.
Song Ji Hyo then went through a colonoscopy and other tests. Most results were normal, with no major health issues found.
However, the doctor noted, “You don’t have any ulcers, just mild gastritis. Overall, you’re in good health. There’s no major issue with your colon, but we did remove a small polyp, about 5mm. It’s not big, but since it could turn into cancer, it’s better to remove it.”
The doctor reassured her, saying, “You don’t need to worry. You’re healthy. Your inflammatory markers, anemia levels, and other indicators are all fine. There’s nothing serious that requires treatment.”
