Jeon Jong Seo might be known for her intense thriller roles, but her personal watchlist is surprisingly full of reality TV drama.
Jeon appeared as a guest on Jang Yoon Ju’s YouTube channel on January 24 and candidly discussed her favorite TV show and her desire to even star in a drama-filled reality TV show.
When asked if there were any specific projects or settings she wanted to try next, Jeon gave an unexpected answer. Instead of a film or drama, she named two of Korea’s biggest variety hits.
“I want to appear on EXchange,” she said. “Also Culinary Class Wars.“
Jang Yoon Ju immediately shut down the cooking show ambition with a hilarious roast. “What would you do on Culinary Class Wars? You can’t even make drip coffee at home!” she teased, showing off their close friendship.
Jang then turned her attention to the dating show comment. Jeon has been in a public relationship with director Lee Chung Hyun since December 2021.
“You want to go on EXchange? Have you been dating too long?” Jang joked, causing the room to erupt in laughter.
Jeon quickly clarified that she didn’t mean she wanted to join as a contestant with her boyfriend. “It’s not that I want to appear on EXchange with my own relationship,” she explained. “The program itself is just so intense and crazy. That’s why it’s even more entertaining.”
Jang Yoon Ju then shared her own reality TV preference, adding dryly, “I haven’t really watched that much. Divorce Camp is more my style.”
