A new wave of first-love butterflies is on the way. Every Day, We (literal title), starring Kim Sae Ron and Lee Chae Min, has released its trailer, offering a tender, nostalgic look at the confusing emotions of being seventeen.
Marking the first teen romance of 2026, the film also stars Ryoo Ui Hyun and Choi Yu Ju. Notably, Every Day, We is the late Kim Sae Ron’s final on-screen work, lending added weight and poignancy to the story’s coming-of-age themes.
The teaser begins just before middle school graduation, when Ho Soo (Lee Chae Min) suddenly confesses his feelings to his childhood friend Yeo Wool (Kim Sae Ron). The moment leaves her stunned enough to drop the hot dog in her hand. Overwhelmed, Yeo Wool starts avoiding him, and the unresolved tension follows them into the start of high school.
Convinced Ho Soo is nothing more than a friend, Yeo Wool is caught off guard when her heart starts racing whenever he appears. The situation grows more tangled after it becomes known that Yeo Wool has feelings for Ho Jae (Ryoo Ui Hyun), a boy on the basketball team, turning their once-easy friendship into a knot of emotions.
Balancing the space between friendship and love, the film traces teenagers learning how to navigate feelings they do not yet have words for. Their confusion, hesitation, and growth are designed to mirror memories many viewers carry from their own youth.
With heartfelt performances and an especially meaningful final turn from Kim Sae Ron, Every Day, We is set to deliver the year’s first dose of youthful romance when it opens in theaters this February.
