The late Kim Sae Ron will meet audiences one final time. Youth romance Everyday, We (literal title), starring Kim Sae Ron and Lee Chae Min, has locked in a February 2026 theatrical release and revealed a teaser poster that leans into the ache and confusion of first love.
Adapted from the hit webtoon with over 16 million views on Kakao Page, the film captures the emotional whiplash of being seventeen. The story begins when Oh Ho Soo (Lee Chae Min) abruptly confesses to his childhood friend Han Yeo Wool (Kim Sae Ron) just before they start high school.
Caught off guard by both the confession and an impulsive kiss, Yeo Wool reacts in anger, bringing their friendship to a sudden end. On the first day of school, fate reunites them in the same class. With everything changed and their bond already broken, the two navigate awkward days as unfamiliar feelings only grow more complicated.
The film marks Bon Appétit, Your Majesty star Lee Chae Min’s screen debut and first leading role, showcasing a softer side as a boy experiencing first love. Opposite him, Kim Sae Ron delivers a poignant final performance as Yeo Wool, a spirited teen thrown into emotional turmoil. Having built a strong filmography from childhood, Kim’s bright, tomboyish charm shines through, making the film especially resonant.
The supporting cast includes Choi Yu Ju, formerly of Cherry Bullet, and Ryu Ui Hyun, who gained popularity through A-Teen, rounding out a lineup of young newcomers.
In the newly released teaser poster, Ho Soo and Yeo Wool stand under one umbrella in the rain. Ho Soo’s earnest gaze is paired with the line, “Does first love really never work out?”, while Yeo Wool’s expression quietly reflects the loss of a friendship already gone—capturing both the flutter and the heartbreak at the core of the film’s coming-of-age romance.
