YouTuber Haetnim (Haetnim the Short Mouth) has stepped down from tvN’s Amazing Saturday (DoReMi Market) amid allegations linked to the so-called “Injection Aunt,” marking the third cast exit tied to the controversy.
On December 19th, the show’s production team said they would respect Haetnim’s decision to halt activities and confirmed she will not participate in future recordings. They added there are currently no plans to bring in new members.
Haetnim addressed the issue earlier that day on her YouTube channel, apologizing for her lack of caution and announcing she would withdraw from all ongoing programs and suspend scheduled activities. She said she met the individual in question through an acquaintance and believed the person was a licensed doctor, adding that while home visits did occur when she was busy, she never visited the individual’s residence.
With Haetnim’s departure, Amazing Saturday has now lost three fixed cast members connected to the controversy. Comedian Park Na Rae and SHINee’s Key had previously exited the show after acknowledging involvement with the same individual, who is accused of practicing medicine without a license.
Park Na Rae announced her departure on the 8th amid multiple allegations, including workplace harassment and receiving illegal medical treatment. Her former managers have said they plan to file a damages lawsuit seeking 100 million KRW (approx. 68,000 USD).
Key admitted on the 17th that he received treatment from the individual, also saying he believed the person was a licensed doctor. His agency said he decided to step down from all programs after recognizing the seriousness of the issue.
Amazing Saturday will continue filming with its remaining cast, including Shin Dong Yup, Kim Dong Hyun, Moon Se Yoon, Nucksal, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, Hanhae, P.O, and Boom.
