The legal team for Jung Chul Min, producer of tvN’s hit variety show Sixth Sense and SBS’s Running Man (2017–2020), has fired back at the sexual misconduct allegations made by a former employee.

The accuser’s lawyer had earlier identified the alleged perpetrator as the director of Sixth Sense. In response, Jung’s legal team released a detailed statement calling the claims “entirely false.”

According to the firm, the accuser was the one with workplace issues, noting that colleagues and even external partners had raised complaints about the individual’s behavior. The team added that a decision had already been made to transfer the employee prior to the incident.

Addressing the specific allegation, the legal team denied any inappropriate contact. They stated that the only physical interaction between the two occurred on August 14th, 2025, after a company dinner attended by more than 160 people.

“Producer Jung and the complainant only had contact to the extent of patting each other’s shoulders or putting arms around each other’s shoulders on a street with many passersby and colleagues present,” the statement read. “The complainant also made contact, such as touching our client’s shoulder, which was common in their daily interactions.”

The firm also revealed that it has secured video footage submitted to investigators. The footage allegedly shows the complainant “touching the producer’s shoulder while he was sitting still” and “approaching the producer from behind as he walked ahead, attempting to put an arm around his shoulder.”

Jung’s team further argued that the accuser’s initial complaint to authorities was vague and emphasized that they “will fully cooperate with the investigation to prove his innocence.” They added that “workplace colleagues who are well aware of his character are also coming together to reveal the truth.”
