Yook Jun Seo, a fan favorite from Single’s Inferno 4, has revealed he suffered serious injuries to his face and is now preparing for an operation.
On September 10th, Yuk posted an update to his social media account, writing, “I’ve been going to the hospital for the past few days trying to recover. My nose is broken, three-quarters of my eardrum is ruptured, and my elbow is full of fluid. I have to get surgery on my nose soon. Wow, life is fun and tough.”
The accompanying video showed a glimpse of his current condition, with fans noting that his typically sharp nose bridge looked different, making the news of his surgery even more concerning.
In the comments, he maintained a tough and slightly humorous attitude despite the severe injuries. When a friend reacted with, “Nose surgery? Oh my god,” Yuk replied, “Honestly, I don’t care if it’s broken or not. I just want to go to the gym,” expressing his frustration at being unable to exercise.
When another fan joked, “Is your nose going to get even more handsome? How much more can it?” he humbly replied, “Right now, I’m very much a monster.”

Yuk Jun Seo, born in 1996, is a former UDT staff sergeant who rose to fame on the hit military survival show Steel Troops in 2021. After his service, he pursued a career as a painter and has since expanded into acting, appearing in Sweet Home Seasons 2 and 3 and, most recently, the Wavve original series ONE: High School Heroes. He also gained further international recognition as a cast member on Single’s Inferno 4.
