Circle Chart August and Week 36: HUNTR/X Take 7 Crowns, Stray Kids Earn 3

The August 2025 Circle Chart has crowned this month’s top performers, with HUNTR/X and Stray Kids among the biggest winners.

According to the Korea Music Content Association, HUNTR/X earned an impressive seven titles in August, while Stray Kids collected three.

HUNTR/X, joined by EJAE, Audrey Nuna, Rei Ami, and the cast of KPop Demon Hunters, swept seven categories with the track “Golden.” The Netflix series OST dominated Global K-pop, Digital (Circle Index: 135,237,189), Streaming, BGM, V Caller Ring, Ringtone, and Karaoke charts. “Golden” sparked a global cover challenge upon release and continues to ride the wave, holding the No. 1 spot on the weekly Global K-pop Chart for 10 consecutive weeks.

Stray Kids scored three crowns with their fourth full-length album KARMA, topping the Album Chart (2,954,420 copies) and the Retail Album Chart (855,511 copies). The album’s title track “CEREMONY” also claimed No. 1 on the Download Chart. Featuring 11 tracks in total, KARMA highlights the group’s perseverance and celebratory energy, with “CEREMONY” serving as the centerpiece.

Lim Young Woong also made a strong showing, taking the top spot on the Ringback Tone Chart with his new single “Eternal Moment.” As the lead track of his second full-length album IM HERO 2, the song already claimed five crowns in its release week (Week 35), sweeping Downloads, BGM, V Caller Ring, Ringtone, and Ringback Tone categories.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK captured the first-ever monthly No. 1 on the newly revamped Social Chart 3.0, which since Week 32 has added Tencent Music data alongside YouTube, Mubeat, and Hanteo metrics—giving a broader snapshot of global K-pop popularity.

In the latest Week 36 chart (August 31st–September 6th), “Golden” by HUNTR/X and collaborators once again topped four categories: Global K-pop, Digital, Streaming, and Karaoke. ZEROBASEONE earned two crowns with Never Say Never on the Album and Retail Album Charts, while Lim Young Woong repeated his five-category sweep for the second week running.
