Park Min Young is showing off a rainbow of transformations in the upcoming TV Chosun weekend drama Confidence Queen, giving fans a glimpse of her multi-layered performance.
Confidence Queen follows three brilliant con artists who set out to take revenge on society’s villains in a caper comedy full of twists. Directed by Nam Ki Hoon (Big Bet, Kiss Sixth Sense, Voice 3) and written by Hong Seung Hyun (Criminal Minds, Cheo-Yong), alongside Kim Da Hye, the series brings together Park Min Young, Park Hee Soon, and Joo Jong Hyuk.
In the show, Park plays Yoon I Rang, the glamorous leader of the “Confidence Team.” Born into wealth, armed with genius-level intelligence and stunning beauty, she thrives on outsmarting wrongdoers with outrageous schemes.
Across the first two episodes alone, Park’s character pulls off a dizzying lineup of disguises—casino dealer, flight attendant, yogurt delivery worker—highlighting her chameleon-like range. From a traditional hanbok with a classic updo to flowing gowns, sharp uniforms, and a minigun toy, Park seamlessly balances I Rang’s dopamine-charged energy with her razor-sharp leadership.
The production team teased, “When viewers watch, they’ll find themselves saying, ‘Park Min Young did it again!’ We’re confident her various looks and ‘wannabe fit’ fashion will be one of the drama’s biggest joys.”
Confidence Queen premieres September 6th at 9:10 PM KST on TV Chosun and Coupang Play, with Amazon Prime Video streaming the series in 240 countries and territories outside Korea.
