Kim Jae Wook and Hong Hwa Yeon are set to star in the new drama Secret Audit (literal title).
Secret Audit is described as an office comedy-meets-romance set in the world of corporate oversight. The series follows Noh Gi Jun, a top auditor who’s demoted to internal “morality enforcement” after a scandal, and Joo In Ah, a no-nonsense yet quirky department head with a secret. Shin Hye Sun and Gong Myung will lead as the chaotic duo charged with investigating inappropriate workplace behavior across the company.
Kim Jae Wook will play Jeon Jae Yeol, the executive vice chairman of Haemoo Group. Jae Yeol is the rare “perfect chaebol”—a third-generation heir who’s not only highly competent but also deeply humane. Behind his polished image, however, lies a painful family history. He then meets someone he believes he could spend forever with—but it turns into a bittersweet, heart-wrenching love.
Hong Hwa Yeon plays Park Ah Jung, Haemoo Group vice chairman’s secretary. Though initially guarded, she finds herself slowly opening up to Jeon Jae Yeol, who treats her with genuine respect. As her feelings shift, her role in the company—and in Jae Yeol’s story—becomes increasingly pivotal.
Kim Jae Wook most recently made waves in Netflix’s historical series Dear Hongrang, released this past May. He played Prince Han Pyeong, the king’s only brother and a Joseon-era aesthete obsessed with the arts—once again proving his range and screen presence.
Hong Hwa Yeon, who began her acting career in 2022 with Mental Coach Jegal, quickly made her mark. Just recently, she caught widespread attention as the lead in SBS’s Buried Hearts, landing her first main role just three years after debut.
Meanwhile, the network/platform and release date for Secret Audit remain undetermined.
