The premiere of Crushology 101 has been pushed back by a week.
MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama Crushology 101 has postponed its premiere from April 4th to April 11th, according to an April 2nd report from SPOTV News.
The drama was originally scheduled to premiere on April 4th at 9:50 PM KST, following Undercover High School. However, since the Constitutional Court is set to rule on President Yoon Suk Yeol’s potential impeachment or reinstatement at 11 AM that day, the premiere was postponed.
Special news reports on the political situation are expected to continue throughout the day following the ruling. The production team decided to push the premiere back by a week after extensive discussions to ensure a smoother launch. However, the drama’s April 3rd press conference will proceed as planned.
Crushology 101 is a romantic drama about a girl nicknamed Bunny, who suddenly finds herself caught up with several charming men while searching for her ideal boyfriend after a disastrous first love. The show is based on the hit Kakao Webtoon of the same name, which has amassed 170 million views. Starring rising actors such as Roh Jeong Eui, Lee Chae Min and Cho Jun Young, the drama has already generated high expectations.
