Netflix has officially announced the release date for its highly anticipated drama When Life Gives You Tangerines. Premiering on March 7th, the series promises to take viewers on a heartwarming journey through the seasons of life, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Jeju Island.
The drama follows the coming-of-age adventures of Ae Sun, a spirited and rebellious young woman dubbed “the remarkable rebel,” and Gwan Sik, her earnest and stoic counterpart known as “unyielding iron.” Together, they navigate love, friendship, and personal growth as they experience the vibrancy of Jeju Island through spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
When Life Gives You Tangerines is helmed by acclaimed director Kim Won Suk, celebrated for his work on Misaeng: Incomplete Life and My Mister, and penned by Lim Sang Choon, the writer behind When the Camellia Blooms and Fight for My Way. The series boasts an all-star cast led by IU as Ae Sun and Park Bo Gum as Gwan Sik. Joining them are Moon So Ri, Park Hae Joon and more.
