Yoon Kye Sang recently expressed his disappointment with the current concert culture, where fans filming performances often detract from the experience of simply enjoying live events.
On Monday, Yoon Kye Sang shared a heartfelt message on social media following his solo fan meeting, LOG, held on Saturday. He wrote, “Did you enjoy the LOG fan meeting? I poured my heart into preparing for it, but now that it’s over, I feel a bit embarrassed and apologetic because there are many aspects I wish I could have done better.”
Reassuring fans, he announced that a video of the fan meeting is being edited. “I’ll make sure to share it with you as soon as it’s ready, so please don’t worry,” he promised. However, Yoon Kye Sang also addressed a more sensitive topic: the use of cameras during the event and the sharing of footage on social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram.

“To be honest, I wanted to create a more intimate experience with all of you at this fan meeting,” he confessed. “I hoped everyone would put their phones down for a while and truly immerse themselves in the moment. After such a long time since our last gathering, I thought we could create meaningful memories by connecting without any distractions.”
Despite his hopes, Yoon Kye Sang shared his disappointment at seeing fans raising their cameras during the performance and finding videos posted online almost immediately after the event. “Seeing cameras go up during the show and footage appearing online so quickly was a bit disappointing,” he shared. “I’m sure there was an announcement about this, and I also mentioned it a few times during the event. I just hoped my request would be respected a little more.”
He concluded his message with a heartfelt plea for future events: “I’m sharing this to help avoid a similar situation in the future. I kindly ask for your understanding and support. As I mentioned during LOG, I hope we can all stay healthy and meet again soon. Please take care in this cold weather, and I wish you a wonderful end to the year.”
Fans can look forward to seeing Yoon Kye Sang in the upcoming SBS drama Try: We Become Miracles, set to air in 2025.
