Former Rainbow member and actress Kim Jae Kyung, 35, has revealed that she secretly tied the knot last summer. Her agency, Namoo Actors, released a statement on December 16th announcing that “Kim Jae Kyung has met a special someone and, based on deep trust and affection, exchanged marriage vows last summer in a ceremony attended by immediate family members.”
The statement continued, “Kim Jae Kyung’s spouse is a non-celebrity, and the ceremony was kept private out of respect for the spouse.”
The agency added, “Kim Jae Kyung will continue to work hard as an actress to repay the love you’ve shown through good performances and projects,” and “We ask for your congratulations and warm encouragement as Kim Jae Kyung begins a new chapter in her life.”
Kim Jae Kyung debuted in the entertainment industry as a member of the K-pop group Rainbow in 2009, gaining popularity with hits like “A,” “Sweet Dream,” and “Tell me Tell me.” She began her acting career with a special appearance in the 2011 film Heartbeat and has since appeared in various dramas including God’s Quiz 4 and Again My Life.
