Min Hee Jin, CEO of ADOR, addressed in her press conference on the 31st, expressing a desire for compromise with HYBE amidst recent disputes.

The CEO emphasized the significant achievements under her leadership, stating, “I accomplished in two years what other boy bands might take five or seven years to achieve. Can you use the word ‘betrayal’ for the CEO of the subsidiary who has delivered such results?”

Min’s comments followed a court ruling that accepted her request for an injunction to prevent HYBE from exercising voting rights to remove her. The court concluded that while her actions to independently manage ADOR might “seem like a betrayal,” they did not constitute a breach of trust against the company.

As a result of the ruling, Min retained her position at the extraordinary general meeting. However, HYBE, which holds an 80% stake in ADOR, dismissed Min’s associates, Vice President Shin and Director Kim, appointing HYBE insiders Kim Joo Young (CHRO), Lee Jae Sang (CSO), and Lee Kyung Joon (CFO) as new directors.

This press conference marked Min’s second public appearance since the dispute began, following her first on April 25th. “I don’t know who this dispute is for or what it aims to achieve. I am tired of the accusations and criticisms; everyone is weary,” Min confessed.

She continued, “We should consider what is more beneficial overall and discuss these matters constructively, especially now that the court has ruled there was no breach of trust regarding ADOR. The game needs to change for everyone’s sake—that is the mindset of a good leader and the right thing to do as a person.”

Unlike her previous appearance, Min appeared more relaxed, wearing a yellow jacket with her hair tied back. “The past month has been the most challenging time of my life, but I feel relieved to have cleared my name. However, there are still many hurdles to overcome,” she said, stressing, “I believe I have a knack for management.”
