Ari, formerly of the girl group Tahiti, has announced her upcoming marriage to Super Junior’s Ryeowook.
Taking to Instagram, Ari shared, “At the end of this beautiful month of May, I’ve got some warm news to share. We’ve been together for quite some time, and now we’re ready to start a family.” Her post continued, “I want to thank everyone who has supported and understood us and who encouraged us along the way. And to those who might feel hurt by our news, I’m really sorry.”
Ari also committed to moving forward with care: “With this in mind, I’ll be more responsible and careful, making sure there’s nothing to worry about regarding my family. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope your homes are filled with peace and happiness.”
Meanwhile, Ryeowook, who debuted as the main vocalist of Super Junior in 2005, has been active both as part of Super Junior’s subunits Super Junior-M and Super Junior-K.R.Y., and as a solo artist. Born in 1987, Ryeowook is seven years older than Ari, born in 1994, who pivoted to acting following the disbandment of Tahiti in 2012.
