MBN shared a sneak peek into the table read for its upcoming weekend miniseries, The Crown Prince Has Disappeared (literal title), starring EXO’s Suho, Hong Ye Ji, Myung Se Bin, Kim Joo Hun and Kim Min Kyu.

The Crown Prince Has Disappeared follows the romance between a crown prince and his would-be wife who kidnaps him. Penned by Kim Ji Soo and Park Chul, the creative minds behind Bossam: Steal the Fate, the upcoming series is helmed by Kim Jin Man of Kill Me, Heal Me and Rebel: Thief Who Steals the People.

Suho steps into the role of Crown Prince Yi Geon, who finds himself at a crossroads of fate after unexpectedly getting kidnapped. Hong Ye Ji portrays Choi Myung Yoon, the charismatic female leader in Joseon and the daughter of the esteemed physician Choi Sang Rok.

Myung Se Bin takes on the role of Queen Dowager Min Soo Ryun, who had to give up her love due to her social status as the queen. Kim Joo Hun brings to life Doctor Choi Sang Rok, the loving and charismatic father of Choi Myung Yoon. Kim Min Kyu plays Prince Dosung, the half-brother of Crown Prince Yi. Prince Dosung has exceptional martial arts skills and striking looks.

The production team said, “Viewers will have fun witnessing the twists of fate among these individuals entangled in the kidnapping incident.”

The Crown Prince Has Disappeared premieres on March 9th.
