EXO member Baekhyun has established an independent label, I&B100, with fellow members Xiumin and Chen set to join him in this new venture. The trio, known collectively as CBX, announced the launch of I&B100 on January 8th, marking a significant step in their careers. The formation of this independent label, which will house their individual and sub-unit activities, is a collaborative effort agreed upon with SM Entertainment.

Under I&B100, Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen will engage in solo and CBX group activities, while continuing their group activities as EXO with SM Entertainment, as before.

The team at I&B100 stated, “This new endeavor is rooted in the members’ sincere effort and desire to engage more creatively and genuinely with their fans.” They asked for “warm encouragement and support in this journey of change and growth” and added, “We also request unwavering support for their continued activities with EXO.”

SM Entertainment also confirmed, “EXO will continue its activities with all eight members. There are plans to meet the fans through various activities, including new music, performances, and a fan meeting scheduled for April.”

Regarding the contractual status, SM Entertainment clarified, “The exclusive contracts with the re-signed members remain valid. D.O., whose exclusive contract has ended, has agreed to continue participating in EXO activities, and we are in ongoing discussions about future schedules. For Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin, it’s agreed under their existing contracts that they can independently manage their personal activities.”
