The upcoming U+MobileTV original drama Branding in Seongsu tells a unique role-reversal romance thriller story set in Seongsu-dong, a “hotspot of branding and marketing.” The plot unfolds as Kang Na Eon (Kim Ji Eun), a prickly marketing team manager, and intern So Eun Ho (Lomon), known for his dog-like friendly charm, switch souls.
STUDIO X+U, known for its success in unique genres with dramas like High Cookie and Night has come, is expected to create another sensation with Branding in Seongsu.
In the drama, One Dollar Lawyer star Kim Ji Eun plays Kang Na Eon, the youngest executive in her field, known for turning every project she touches into a success. All of Us Are Dead actor Lomon portrays So Eun Ho, the oldest intern who, having lived a YOLO lifestyle, belatedly jumps into the job market. The two characters, distinctly different in their “prickliness” and “charm,” are set to capture viewers with their perfect chemistry.
In the released teaser poster, So Eun Ho has his arms wrapped around Kang Na Eon, almost kissing her. The caption, “A relationship changed with just one kiss,” hints at the upcoming “soul-switching” incident. The drama raises questions about whether Na Eon and Eun Ho can return to their own bodies and what happens to the marketing team amidst this role reversal.
Meanwhile, Branding in Seongsu, a topsy-turvy romance drama revolving around the youngest team manager Kim Ji Eun and the oldest intern Lomon, is slated for release on U+MobileTV on February 5th.
