Kim Nam Joo and Cha Eun Woo‘s new drama, Wonderful World (literal title), will be released on both MBC and Disney Plus.
Wonderful World is a mysterious thriller about Eun Soo Hyun, a woman who seeks revenge after losing his son to a tragic accident. When the culprit escapes punishment through the legal system, she decides to seek justice on her own. The show is helmed by director Lee Seung Young, known for Tracer and Voice 2, and writer Kim Ji Eun, renowned for Lie After Lie and Cheongdam-dong Scandal.
Kim Nam Joo plays the role of Eun Soo Hyun, a successful psychology professor and writer who falls into a bottomless pit of despair after losing her young son.
Cha Eun Woo takes on the role of Kwon Sun Ryul, a mysterious figure who chooses to live a rough life. Despite his seemingly gentle demeanor, he harbors hidden secrets and becomes deeply entwined in Eun Soo Hyun’s life.
Kim Kang Woo plays Kang Soo Ho, a successful anchor and Eun Soo Hyun’s husband, whose life takes a dramatic turn after losing their son. Despite his genuine love for his family, he faces unexpected challenges.
Lim Se Mi takes on the role of Han Yoo Ri, a close friend of Eun Soo Hyun and the owner of a successful editorial shop. Treating Soo Hyun and her mother like family, Yoo Ri offers comfort to Soo Hyun’s wounded heart.
Wonderful World will premiere in March 2024.
