Namkoong Min was voted the top-performing actor of 2023, according to Gallup Korea’s rankings released on December 14th.
In a survey conducted from November 2nd to December 4th, involving 1,769 people aged 13 and above, Namkoong Min, who portrayed Lee Jang Hyun in the MBC drama My Dearest, received 20.2% of the vote, securing the first spot.
Second place went to Park Eun Bin, who played Seo Mok Ha in the tvN drama Castaway Diva. She gained attention this year for personally singing all 11 songs in her role as a singer.
Taking the third spot was Song Hye Kyo, who portrayed Moon Dong Eun in the Netflix original series The Glory. Song Hye Kyo came in at the third spot as this year’s talent for two consecutive years.
Fourth place went to Ahn Eun Jin, known for her role as the strong single mother Im Mi Joo in The Good Bad Mother and the resilient female character Yoo Gil Chae in the historical drama My Dearest.
Rounding out the top 5 to 8 are Song Joong Ki, Choi Soo Jong, Kim Hae Sook, and a shared 8th place between Han Suk Kyu, Go Doo Shim, Kim Hye Soo respectively.
Outside the top 10, those receiving more than 1.0% response include Cha Eun Woo, Lee Jun Ho, Um Ki Joon, Yoo Yeon Seok, Park Seo Joon, Jun Do Yeon, YoonA, Hwang Jung Eum, Han Ji Min, Lee Byung Hun, Lee Jung Jae, Park Bo Young, Kim So Yeon, Kim Soo Mi, Han So Hee, Kim Tae Ri, Lim Ji Yeon, Choi Bool Am, Kim Jong Un, Han Hyo Joo, Park Won Suk, Lee Jun, Kim Hye Ja, Lee Yoo Mi, Ra Mi Ran, Lee Bo Young, Yoon Yeo Jung, Suzy, totaling 28 actors.
