Kwon Eun Bi is making her acting debut in a Japanese film titled Stolen Identity 3, the third installment in the Japanese version of Unlocked.

Stolen Identity 1, the first installment of the Japanese movie series, recorded a massive hit, surpassing 1.5 million viewers and grossing over 19 billion yen (approximately $172 million) upon its release in 2018. Even with theater closures during the pandemic, the sequel, Stolen Identity 2, successfully drew over 900,000 viewers. With the franchises’ continued success, the movie has been remade in South Korea and is now getting a Chinese remake.

In the third installment of the Japanese movie, Kwon Eun Bi takes on the role of Soo Min, a mysterious beauty with black hair. Director Hideo Nakata praised her performance, stating, “Eun Bi did a great job portraying her emotions in Japanese and delivering some impressive, dynamic body movements.”

Stolen Identity 3 has released its teaser video this morning, along with the casting news. The clip heightens tension as it shows serial killer Urano (played by Ryo Narita) threatening Soo Min’s life, with detective Kagaya (Yudai Chiba) in hot pursuit.

Stolen Identity 3 will hit theaters in Japan in the fall of 2024.
