Jinyoung shared his thoughts on joining the cast of Sweet Home Season 2 at its press event.

The event was attended by Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young, Go Min Si, Jinyoung, Yu Oh Seong, Kim Mu Yeol, and director Lee Eung Bok.
Jinyoung revealed, “I had so much fun while watching Season 1. Being on the show got me really excited. I’m confident that viewers would absolutely love it.”
The star plays Park Chan Young, a soldier tasked with transporting Green Home survivors. Talking about his role, he said, “Chang Young is a just and good-hearted guy, volunteered for the army and all that. But while taking on the task of relocating Green Home survivors to a safety camp, Eun Yoo’s impulsive actions catch his eyes.”
Director Lee Eung Bok shared, “I came up with this character with Jinyoung in mind. I thought it would be nice if there were someone who maintains integrity even in a fallen world. And I actually met someone like that, and it was Jinyoung.”
Jinyoung shared how he prepared for the role in the show, saying, “Even though my character’s a soldier in the series, he used to be a baseball player. So, I did a bunch of baseball practice.” He also added, “I really appreciated that the director saw me in a good light. I couldn’t be more thankful to hear I was a great fit for the role. I hope many will love my new character in the upcoming season of Sweet Home.”
