Song Ji Hyo has been confirmed for the upcoming film House of Meeting (literal title).
House of Meeting revolves around the story of Tae Jeo, a female correctional officer with 15 years of experience, who encounters the daughter of one of her inmates. Song Ji Hyo will step into the lead role of Tae Jeo, marking her return to the big screen after about four years since Intruder.
On the 29th, her agency Nexus ENM announced, “Song Ji Hyo has been confirmed to star in House of Meeting. Expect to see a new transformation and charm from Song Ji Hyo, a reliable actress known for her acting prowess.”
In charge of production is director Cha Jeong Yoon, who’s been previously recognized in various national and international film festivals for works such as Nagayo and Sangju. Director Cha expressed that Song Ji Hyo’s deep eyes and unique voice perfectly match the main character and will bring out the delicate nuances of the film.
Meanwhile, House of Meeting will begin filming in January 2024.
