Park Sung Woong will be joining the cast of TVING’s Good or Bad Dong Jae as Nam Wan Sung, a construction firm CEO who faces off against prosecutor Seo Dong Jae (Lee Joon Hyuk).
Good or Bad Dong Jae is a spin-off of popular series Stranger that explores Seo Dong Jae’s (played by Lee Joon Hyuk) desire to break free from his past and gain recognition as a true prosecutor. Facing him is Nam Wan Sung, the CEO of Lee Hong Construction, who tries to dredge up the past that Dong Jae wishes to erase from his memory.
Park Sung Woong’s character, Nam Wan Sung, is a self-made man who thinks his business success comes from his wealth and connections, unlike his father who worked from scratch to achieve his current status. He views Prosecutor Seo Dong Jae as a thorn in his side and is willing to go to any lengths to remove obstacles in order to complete his redevelopment projects and expand his business.
The drama involves the creative input of Lee Soo Yeon, the writer of Stranger seasons 1 and 2. Park Geon Ho, with Hwang Ha Jung and Kim Sang Won will take charge of the screenplay.
The production team said, “The new spin-off series is diving into the challenges facing our main man Dong Jae, whose two-faced persona sparked some mixed reactions in Stranger. Get ready to see how these dynamic characters navigate a world where there are no permanent enemies or allies.“
