Drama Ranking for 5th Week of August

MBC’s My Dearest has clinched the top spot for the first time. Following the airing of the final episode of Part 1, the drama has become a subject of heated debates among viewers. Notably, the ending scene featuring Namkoong Min and Lee Cheong Ah has sparked speculation whether the female lead will be replaced. In response, Namkoong Min left a message on his Instagram saying, “I will reciprocate with the love story of Jang Hyun and Gil Chae.” Disney Plus’ Moving slipped to second place but continues to command a buzzing narrative. Meanwhile, Netflix’s Mask Girl lost some of its luster, landing in the third spot. tvN’s The Uncanny Counter 2 concluded its run at fourth place, registering its highest rating of 6.07%. However, the show received feedback suggesting it lacked the appeal of its inaugural season, making for a somewhat lackluster exit. Overall, the drama rankings haven’t seen much fluctuation, but it’s worth noting that ENA’s New Recruit Season 2 has made its debut at eighth place.
