Super Junior’s Donghae and Eunhyuk are stepping into new roles as co-CEOs of ODE Entertainment.

In an official statement released on the 1st, ODE Entertainment confirmed, “Following the expiration of their contract with SM Entertainment, Donghae and Eunhyuk have established ODE Entertainment and assumed roles as co-CEOs.”

Debuting in 2005 as part of Super Junior, the duo concluded their 18-year journey with SM Entertainment on August 31st. The following day, September 1st, marked their fresh start as co-CEOs of their new agency. The pair will continue their close partnership with manager Won Yong Sun from SM, who recently appeared with them on the MBC variety show Omniscient Interfering View and has also joined ODE Entertainment.

Despite this move, their Super Junior activities will carry on as usual. Donghae and Eunhyuk, who this year celebrate their 18th debut anniversary, have plans to maintain their group endeavors alongside Super Junior members who have re-signed with SM. Anticipation is also high for their future activities as part of the unit Super Junior-D&E, which began in 2011.

SM further clarified, “Super Junior will not only continue as a group but also pursue vibrant individual activities. In the cases of Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Kyuhyun, they will conduct separate activities independent of SM.” The statement concluded by noting, “SM will support Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Kyuhyun’s new challenges while closely coordinating effective group, unit, and individual activities, aiming for heightened synergy.”
