Lee Kyu Han and BB GIRLS’ Yujeong are painting the town pink with their newly revealed romantic relationship.
On July 13th, a mutual friend of the couple broke the news, saying, “Lee Kyu Han and Yujeong have fallen in love. After initially meeting on a variety show, their relationship has recently turned romantic.”
Lee and Yujeong first crossed paths on a KBS aired in February. During the filming, sparks flew between the two, leading to consistent meetups even after the show’s conclusion.
During the show, Lee greeted Yujeong with an awkward “Nice to meet you,” to which Yujeong responded, “I’ve seen you in the drama My Lovely Sam Soon.” The actor chuckled embarrassingly and retorted, “I’ve done countless works since then, but that’s the one you remember.”
Lee, turning 40 this year, made his acting debut in the 1996 KBS drama Start. Since then, he has appeared in numerous works, including My Lovely Sam Soon, Listen to My Heart, The Crowned Clown, and Graceful Family. Currently, he’s starring in GenieTV original series Battle for Happiness.
Yujeong, 11 years his junior, debuted in 2016 with the girl group Brave Girls. After gaining popularity with the song “Rollin,” she continued her career with the group BB GIRLS following the disbandment of Brave Girls.
On the same day, Yu Jeong’s agency Warner Music Korea released an official statement, stating, “Upon verification, it has been confirmed that the two individuals are simply close acquaintances. The dating rumors are not true.”
Likewise, Lee Kyu Gan’s agency Blade Entertainment also stated, “While it is true that the two are close colleagues, we want to clarify that the dating rumors are not true.”
