Song Joong Ki has become a dad. His wife, Katy Louise Saunders, just gave birth to their baby boy in Rome.
The actor shared the happy news with his fans on June 14th.
In his message, Song Joong Ki couldn’t contain his joy and said, “You all know I recently finished shooting the movie My Name is Loh Kiwan in Hungary and had an amazing time at the Cannes Film Festival. These days have been like a dream come true.” He continued, “I wanted to be the first to let you know that I’m in Italy right now. Our baby was born in Rome, Katy’s hometown. He’s healthy, and both mom and baby are doing great. I’m taking care of them with so much happiness and gratitude.”
Song Joong Ki then expressed his deepest wish for a happy family, saying, “Creating a lifelong happy family has always been our biggest dream. And it feels like the most precious gift has been given to us. We’re so grateful for all the support we’ve received. It’s truly a special day.”
Ending on a promising note, he added, “I’ll keep bringing you wonderful performances as an actor.”
