The highly anticipated film Concrete Utopia, featuring Lee Byung Hun, Park Seo Joon, and Park Bo Young, has officially announced its release date, unveiling a captivating new teaser poster and trailer.
Concrete Utopia is a disaster film that follows a group of survivors who flock to the Hwang Goong apartment, the only building that remains intact in earthquake-ravaged Seoul.
Lee Byung Hun portrays Young Tak, the new leader of the Hwang Goong apartment residents, who is willing to take any risks to protect the apartment from outsiders. Park Seo Joon takes on the role of Min Sung, who does everything to keep his residence and family safe from harm. Park Bo Young showcases her on-screen chemistry with Park Seo Joon as she portrays Min Sung’s wife, who remains level-headed even in difficult situations.
The teaser poster depicts the sole remaining apartment amidst a city devastated by destruction. Accompanied by the text stating, “Everything collapsed except our apartment,” anticipation grows as to what awaits the survivors in the future throughout the film.
The teaser trailer starts with Young Tak saying, “I felt that this apartment was chosen,” piquing curiosity. The clip also showcases the actors Lee Byung Hun, Park Seo Joon, and Park Bo Young in a new light. The star-studded cast also includes Kim Sung Young, Park Ji Hu, and Kim Do Yoon.
Concrete Utopia will hit theatres in August.
