Jisoo‘s solo debut album has unveiled its title – “ME.”
This simple yet impactful title gives a glimpse into Jisoo’s aspirations and confidence to be reborn as a solo artist, heightening expectations. Along with the title, YG Entertainment unveiled a poster in which Jisoo is dressed in red on a green background, giving off a seductive yet elegant vibe.
As an all-around artist with solid vocal techniques and a unique tone, Jisoo played a big role in solidifying BLACKPINK’s musical identity. Earlier this week, Jisoo gained explosive reactions from fans around the world with a coming soon poster. It soon trended on Twitter, with major foreign media outlets such as Billboard and NME spotlighting Jisoo’s solo debut.
Meanwhile, Jisoo’s first solo album ME will be released on the 31st. The music will be released at midnight EST and 1 PM KST.
