BTS’ Jin has been promoted to private first class.
On March 4th, Jin posted a photo on his Instagram with J-Hope and Jimin, making a peace sign.
He captioned the photo “Welcome,” and J-Hope left a comment with a string of laughing characters that seemed to convey various emotions.
Earlier last month, Jin also drew attention with a comment he left on J-Hope’s Weverse, saying, “I’m soon to be a private first class. Don’t even think about making eye contact with me. I’m a private first class and you’re a trainee.” When J-Hope responded with a salute emoji, Jin added, “The angle of the salute should keep the wrist and lower arm in a straight line, maintaining 45 degrees from the ground, and the upper arm should be maintained at 30 to 45 degrees.”
Fans reacted to the news by commenting, “He is so hot”, “Is he already a private first class?”, “He looks awesome even with a buzz cut”, “I cannot believe he is in his 30s” and “I hope he returns in good health.”
Jin became the first BTS member to enlist in December last year and will be discharged on June 12th, 2024.
