The heartbreaking news of actress Lee Seo Yi’s death has come to light, as she was just 43 years old.
Lee Seo Yi’s manager took to the late actress’s social media on July 1st to share the heartbreaking news. She wrote, “A radiant, beautiful and kind soul has become a star in heaven as of June 20th, 2025.”
She added, “I know everyone is shocked and heartbroken by this news, but please pray that she rests peacefully.”
Tributes from friends have already been pouring in on her account since last week. One friend expressed, “My beloved Seo Yi has left us. It still feels unreal, and the time we spent together is so precious and missed. I am sorry and grateful… I will love you forever. Please rest peacefully there.”

Born in 1982, Lee Seo Yi began her acting career in 2014 with the SBS drama Cheongdam-dong Scandal. She continued to appear in various films such as Scarlet Innocence, The Royal Tailor, Killing Romance and dramas including Bravo My Life, Special Laws of Romance and Fight for My Way. In addition to her acting career, she also expanded her artistic sensibilities by working as a florist.
