The main poster foreshadows some interesting stories to unfold in part 2 of The Glory.

First, the phrase “Lasciate ogni speranza, voi ch’intrate” is written in the group poster.

Written in “Inferno,” the first part of Italian writer Dante Alighieri’s 14th-century epic poem Divine Comedy, it means “Abandon hope all ye who enter here.” Dante wrote that the souls of those he personally disliked or his political rivals are stuck in the inferno and showed sympathy or mercilessly ridiculed them depending on their sins.

Right where Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo) and Joo Yeo Jeong (Lee Do Hyun) stand, there are white morning glories, aka the devil’s trumpets, blooming toward the sky, just like in part 1 poster.

Ha Do Young (Jung Sung Il) is standing where yellow morning glories, aka the angel’s trumpet, and the devil’s trumpets are facing downward to the ground alongside the five perpetrators and is still holding Park Yeon Jin’s (Lim Ji Yeon) hand. This hints that he’ll be torn between Moon Dong Eun and his wife.

And where Kang Hyeon Nam (Yeom Hye Ran) stands, you can see tree trunks intertwined. Part 1 poster showed tree trunks wrapping around the perpetrators’ necks, leading to speculation that death or punishment for the bullies. However, seeing the tree trunk near Kang Hyeon Nam left a bitter aftertaste since she was seen put behind bars after Park Yeon Jin caught on to what she was doing.

Lastly, Moon Dong Eun is dressed in a white outfit for the first time in any of the posters. All along, Writer Kim Eun Sook has described Moon Dong Eun as someone who endured the world of polar nights without a single streak of light with only fury and hatred. That’s why viewers have recognized black, an achromatic color, as the color that symbolizes Moon Dong Eun.

The character posters for part 2 showed five perpetrators in a black background and Moon Dong Eun looking down on them with piercing eyes, foretelling her revenge in full action.

On the other hand, unlike the other perpetrators’ posters, Kang Hyeong Nam and Joo Yeo Jeong are locking eyes with Moon Dong Eun in a light gray background, suggesting that they’re on the same side. However, Ha Do Young and Moon Dong Eun are looking in different directions, showing that he’s someone who views the perpetrator and the victim as a third party, as Writer Kim introduced from the start.
