Drama Ranking for 2nd Week of January
tvN’s new weekend series Crash Course in Romance recorded a 12.7% share of the audience in the first week of its premiere, taking first place in the drama ranking. This is only 0.1% higher than JTBC’s The Interest of Love, which came in second, starting a fierce battle between the two projects. Jung Kyung Ho and Jeon Do Yeon took first and second places in the cast ranking, respectively, successfully drawing attention from early on in the show. The Interest of Love ranked second for the third week. Despite its calm plot, the result of Yoo Yeon Seok, Moon Ga Young, Keum Sae Rok, and Jung Ga Ram’s love cube is a hot topic. SBS’s PAYBACK: Money and Power kept its place in third place. While the speedy storytelling and movie-like directing received favorable responses, some actors’ performances met disappointment. JTBC’s Agency rose to fourth place, with a 48.3% rise in popularity compared to last week. It’s been pointed out that the story is fun but lacks reality. tvN’s Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist 2 debuted in seventh place.
