SM project group GOT the beat is returning to the K-pop scene.
On the 23rd, SM confirmed, “GOT the beat is gearing up for their comeback in January. Please look forward to it.”
GOT the beat is the first unit of SM’s “Girls On Top (GOT)” project in which SM female artists form unit groups under a certain theme. GOT the beat is a 7-member unit based on intense dance songs and performances, and the members are BoA, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and Hyoyeon; Red Velvet’s Seulgi and Wendy; and aespa’s Karina and Winter.
The unit made their grand debut with “Step Back” in January of this year. And a year later, they’re making their comeback with a new song in January of 2023.
