Song Joong Ki and Lee Sung Min exuded their charisma in the new pictorial for ELLE Korea.

ELLE Korea unveiled the new pictorial and interview of two Reborn Rich stars. Reborn Rich centers around a secretary who got killed after being falsely accused of embezzlement by the family he served for over ten years. The drama begins when he goes back in time and becomes the youngest son of the family.

Playing former secretary and current youngest son of a chaebol family, Song Joong Ki chose Writer Kim Tae Hee, who also penned Sungkyunkwan Scandal, and Lee Sung Min the reasons he chose the drama. “At first, Writer Kim Tae Hee was the biggest reason, and later, the fact that Lee Sung Min was cast in the drama became another big reason,” the actor shared. “There are lots of actors my age who’d love to work with him. Being one of them, I was genuinely excited while working with him. I discovered expressions that I never knew I could make acting in front of him.”

Lee Sung Min, stepping into the role of merciless chairman, commented, “I’ve always had the best luck in getting to work with wonderful male actors. And I really wanted to work with Song Joong Ki someday.” He added, “So the fact that he had joined the project was one of the big reasons I chose Reborn Rich. This is this composure in his acting, and I thought that was so cool.”

“I liked the script a lot,” Lee Sung Min continued. “Even the dialect Jin Yang Cheol uses was written in such surprising detail. The story was also fresh. I wanted to approach the setting of chaebol in a more dignified way, so I exchanged a lot of opinions with the director.” Song Joong Ki chimed in, “It’s got a fantasy element in the drama, but the many episodes that connect under the keyword of ‘family’ came very attractive.”

Meanwhile, Reborn Rich will premiere on the 18th at 10:30 PM KST and also be released on Disney Plus and Netflix.
