Disney Plus dropped an intense teaser poster and trailer of its new original series Connect.

While the news about Connect having its premiere at the 27th BIFF became a hot topic, Disney Plus unveiled a visually overwhelming teaser poster and trailer. Connect follows Dong Soo (Jung Hae In), one of the new immortal humans named “Connect,” after he loses an eye to organ traffickers. When he realizes that his eye was transplanted into the body of a serial killer who’s turned the country upside down, he starts a thrilling pursuit after him.

The teaser poster shows a vivid image of the tentacles coming out of something along with the caption “an immortal body,” maximizing the curiosity about what these people called “Connect” really are. For this new breathtaking show, Takashi Miike, Jung Hae In, Ko Kyung Pyo, Kim Hye Joon, and more have come together.

The trailer released along with the poster begins intensely with Dong Soo with an eye patch yelling out in pain and eventually jumping off a building. However, the moment blood gushes out of his head, tentacles pop out and reform the damaged body. Dong Soo, who looked dead, moves again, revealing what the immortal body of “Connect” means.

Meanwhile, Dong Soo doubles the tension as he calls someone and tells them, “I can see what he can see.” At that moment, Jin Seop (Ko Kyung Pyo) shows up with an overwhelming presence. Here, the copy “I’m connected to him” and the bizarre scenes that give a glimpse into this new thriller appeared, further amplifying the curiosity.

Connect will be released exclusively on Disney Plus in December.
