Jung Hae In, Go Kyung Pyo, Kim Hye Jun and Takashi Miike will be attending the 27th Busan International Film Festival for their upcoming Disney Plus original series, Connect.

Connect follows an immortal man named Dong Soo of a new race called ‘Connect.’ He gets kidnapped by organ traffickers and loses an eye. Later, he finds out that his lost eye has been transplanted to a serial killer who caused a massive uproar in the country and starts to chase him down. Jung Hae In plays Dong Soo, the immortal man on the hunt for the serial killer who stole his eye. Go Kyung Pyo will star as Jin Seop, the serial killer who gets his hands on the Connect’s eye by chance, and Kim Hye Joon will take on the role of Lee Rang, a mysterious woman who approaches Dong Soo.

The first three episodes of the series will be screened at the BIFF’s “On Screen” section, and Jung Hae In, Kim Hye Jun and Takashi Miike will attend the opening ceremony on October 5th. The next day, they will spend some time talking about the project from 5:10 PM at the Busan Cinema Center. On the same evening, the cast members and director will have in-depth conversations about the project at CGV Centum City Hall, at 7:30 PM. They will also have a similar session at CGV Centum City Starium Hall on October 7th, at 12 PM.

Connect will be released in December.
