MBC’s May I Help You released its main poster featuring Hyeri and Lee Jun Young.
The drama depicts the teamwork between Baek Dong Ju, the funeral director who grants the wishes of the dead and Butler Kim who runs errands for people around town. The series will be filled with various heart-warming yet strangely unsettling stories of clients that will bring us laughter and tears.
Director Sim So Yeon of Here’s My Plan and Welcome 2 Life will team up with 20th Century Boy and Girl screenwriter Lee Sun Hye. Lee Hyeri, Lee Jun Young, Song Deok Ho, Han Dong Hee, Tae In Ho, Lee Kyu Han and Oh Dae Hwan will star in the new series.
Hyeri will play a woman named Baek Dong Ju who can talk to the dead. She helps ghosts move on to the next world by granting their wishes and avoid having an unlucky day by not doing so. Lee Jun Young will star in the series as Butler Kim, who is a bit clumsy at times but shows his honest and trustworthy nature whenever he faces crucial moments. He meets Baek Dong Joo and becomes intertwined with her eventful life.
The main poster shares a glimpse of a heart-fluttering moment between Hyeri and Lee Jun Young as they seem a little shy and awkward around each other. In the picture, Baek Dong Joo is seen gazing somewhere with her chin in her hand while Butler Kim is wearing a faint smile. The subtext at the top that says, ‘A weird woman met another weird man’ raises curiosity about what will happen between the two.
May I Help You will premiere on October 19th.
