Ha Ji Won is making a transformation into a capable, beautiful hotel general manager.
KBS 2TV’s new Monday-Tuesday drama Curtain Call: A Trees Dies Standing Up (literal title) released the first still photos of Ha Ji Won on the 16th.
This new drama tells the stories of people involved in the greatest con in history as one man tries to make a dying elderly woman’s wish come true.
In the drama, Ha Ji Won plays Park Se Yeon, the youngest daughter of the family who runs Hotel Paradise. Having worked in the hotel as a part-timer since her college days, she’s built up her solid career, and now, she’s a general manager who leads the employees with charisma. But all in all, Park Se Yeon is a lovely character who not only is competent but also has a warm personality. However, her smooth sailing life goes through the toughest hurdle when she gets entangled with one man.
The released stills show the diverse charms of the actress who naturally puts on different faces depending on the situation. A source shared, “Checking every detail of every scene, she’s completing an emotional flow with depth and a sophisticated character. So you can look forward to Ha Ji Won’s unique, delicate performance.”
Meanwhile, Curtain Call premieres in October as a follow-up of The Law Cafe.
