Namkoong Min‘s new drama One Dollar Lawyer will be released on Disney Plus.
The drama revolves around a genius lawyer named Chun Ji Hoon, who only charges an attorney’s fee of a dollar to helpclients without money or connections.
Namkoong Min last appeared in the 2021 series The Veil alongside Kim Ji Eun. He will take on his first lawyer role in his acting career as the peculiar attorney who isn’t afraid of facing off the rich and powerful.
The Veil actress�Kim Ji Eun will also take on the role of Baek Ma Ri who comes from a judicial “royal family” with a bright future ahead of her. She is in the last stages of training to become a prosecutor. Due to her grandfather’s request, Baek Ma Ri works as an assistant in Chun Ji Hoon’s office.
Business Proposal actor Lee Deok Hwa will play Baek Ma Ri’s grandfather Baek Hyun Mu, a charismatic figure who founded one of the largest law firm in the country, and add depth to the series with his outstanding acting.
One Dollar Lawyer will premiere on September 23rd.
