New Disney Plus original series Detective Diaries (literal title) unveiled its release date and teaser poster.
Detective Diaries tells the story of a detective who becomes suspected of killing his fellow detective after getting a mysterious phone call. The story unfolds as the detective looks back to his past to catch an unidentified blackmailer.
The released poster draws attention to Taek Rok who became a murder suspect overnight. He is seen pointing a gun at someone along with the diary he wrote to track down the blackmailer who made him a murder suspect.
Lee Sung Min takes on the role of Kim Taek Rok, a detective who tries to prove his innocence after being named as a murder suspect. Jin Goo plays detective Gook Jin who teams up with Taek Rok to pursue a mysterious blackmailer. Kyung Soo Jin and Lee Hak Joo join the two as detectives Lee Sung Ah and Son Kyung Chan, adding excitement to the show.
Han Dong Hwa behind Bad Guys, Squad 38, and Navillera will produce the upcoming show.
Detective Diaries will premiere in October.
