BTS will hold a free live concert in Busan to support the nation’s bid to host World Expo 2030 in the city. Despite the good news, many people are already raising concerns over their free concert.

Around 100,000 fans are expected to gather and enjoy the concert on October 15th (The stadium has 50,000 seats and holds 50,000 more for standing). However, some are saying that more than 100,000 people will be gathering for the show as there will be no admission charge for the K-pop sensation’s event.

Some Busan citizens are voicing their concerns as Ilgwang is not a big city and has a serious traffic issue. Therefore, they are raising concerns regarding the possible hazard that the upcoming concert can cause.

Also, reports say that hotel and lodging prices are skyrocketing in Gijang-gun. Room prices have already increased ten times the usual price on the concert day. On top of that, some accommodations even canceled the reservations from their end to take new guests for a higher room price.

Regarding the ongoing situation, many are pointing out that the city should have thoroughly checked its infrastructure and the potential harm the event can cause its residents.
