MAMAMOO will be launching their first unit group.
On the 22nd, My Daily reported that Solar and Moonbyul formed MAMAMOO’s first unit group and will make their debut later this month. MAMAMOO’s label RBW responded, “Solar and Moonbyul are preparing a unit album. The exact release date and specific details about the new album will be announced soon.”
This is MAMAMOO’s first unit group. Back in 2016, Solar & Wheein and Moonbyul & Hwasa each formed two unit groups – a vocal group and a rapper group – for their concert and even released albums, but that was more of a special event for fans.
Solar and Moonbyul are nicknamed “Yong-kong-byul-kong” among the fans. And since both artists are well-known for their musical prowess, attention focuses on the official debut of the two as a group.
