Kakao TV dropped the main trailer for upcoming drama Once Upon a Small Town.

The new drama is a romance series about a vet from Seoul meeting a policewoman named Ahn Ja Young (Joy) while living in a countryside village called Heedong. The vet, Han Ji Yool (played by Chu Young Woo), finds life in Heedong Village not easy, and his peaceful daily life turns upside down with his new meddlesome neighbors. Ja Young’s close friend Lee Sang Hyun (Baek Sung Chul) joins the two in creating an intriguing romance in the show.

Ja Young is a policewoman who always shows up and helps resolve matters in the Heedong village. The video also shares a glimpse of her daily life as she is sighted harvesting crops and milking cows. Her love for work is so immense that she shows no interest in dating anyone yet. Busy completing her daily work tasks, she goes, โ€œI have no time for dating, and I am not interested in dating anyone yet.โ€

In the meantime, two guys are captured showing their interest in Ja Young. One is Ji Yool, a vet from Seoul who happens to work in the village, and the other is a young farmer named Sang Hyun who grows peach trees. The video has the voice of Ji Yool, saying, โ€œI love her. Unlike a certain someone in our town, I do not cross the line.โ€ Then the scene quickly switches to him being thrown into confusion when Ja Young suddenly shows up and waves her milk bottle right in front of him. Meanwhile, her childhood friend Sang Hyun is seen blushing while looking at her picking up peaches as if he has fallen in love with her at first sight. He is also spotted being wary of Ji Yool as he refers to him as “a sly Seoul manโ€

Once Upon a Small Town will premiere on September 5th on both Kakao TV and Netflix.
